Steven Frantz Ed.D.

Steven Frantz, Ed.D., Director of the Veterans Re-Entry Education Program in the Office of the Chancellor for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Dr. Frantz has served as a point person, coordinating the veterans’ reintegration activities of the System. He has been an active participant in Minnesota’s groundbreaking “Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” program and has worked to develop policies and legislation to facilitate the reintegration of veterans on campuses in Minnesota. In 2009, he received the U.S. Army’s Commander’s Award for Public Service presented by Major General Shellito, Adjutant General for the Minnesota National Guard. Dr. Frantz holds a baccalaureate degree in social science education, a master’s degree and specialist certificate in counseling and student personnel psychology and a doctorate in educational policy and administration.
