The paper will integrate some historical work on satisfaction research with the unique environment of student services in two-year colleges. AB 540 - New Law Increases Access to Community College for Non-Resident Students |

Last January 2002, the California State Legislature authorized a law permitting certain non-resident students an exemption from paying non-resident tuition. This new law was both controversial and confusing. Guidelines and affidavits needed to be developed with agreement among all entities within California Public Higher Education. The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District took a proactive approach and now have a smooth operating process in place. |
