Omid Pourzanjani

Golden West College, California
Omid Pourzanjani is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Golden West College. For the past few years he has served as co-chair of the Technology Committee. It is in this capacity that he developed the college’s vision statement for technology. Omid has also represented his division as a senator.
Prior to his assignment at Golden West, Omid taught at California State University, Long Beach and the University of California, Irvine. Most of his teaching is done in the evening. During the day he is an Executive Director in Information Technology for Mindspeed Technologies, a multinational high tech company headquartered in Orange County.
Omid attended California State University, Long Beach where he earned both a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
